I was a highly experienced Driving Examiner with the DVSA (previously DSA) for more than 32 years. In that time I’ve conducted around 70,000 driving tests covering all vehicles and disciplines such as cars, motorcycles, tractors, large goods vehicles (LGV) and passenger carrying vehicles (PCV).
My experience as a driving test examiner seen me work in various driving test centres in Edinburgh, Bathgate, Livingston, Glasgow and – latterly – as the Test Centre Manager in Saltcoats, Kilmarnock (L+LGV) and Ayr.
It is my aim to utilise this previous experience within the DVSA to provide you with Quality Driver Training to not only pass your driving test first time but also to fast track you to become a safe and good driver.
Uniquely, I cover a wide area for tuitions. These are Ayrshire, Glasgow and Lanarkshire.

Introductory Discount & Fees
1 Hour Lesson – £35
1.5 Hour Lesson – £52.50
Block of 5 Lessons for £170, payment upfront and in full to secure this price.
Block of 10 Lessons for £330 payment upfront and in full to secure this price. (If Block Booking is not fully used (i.e. You pass your test) the remaining funds will be returned.
Driving options
Further driving courses such as Pass Plus, Refresher, Glasgow City Centre or Motorway Driving

Cancellation / No Show Fee – £10
To cancel a lesson simply contact me no later 24hrs before the lesson is due. For cancellations made on the day of the lesson or where I arrive for your lesson and you are not present then the cancellation/no show fee will be added to the cost of the lesson.
As your instructor, I am also bound by this cancellation/no show clause, therefore you, the learner, will receive £10 off your next lesson if I fail to meet these criteria.
Any due fees which are not paid will be regarded as an indication that lessons are no longer required. As a Driving School instructor, I will always be understanding in exceptional circumstances and might waive the cancellation/no show fee.
If a lesson is cancelled due to poor/adverse weather conditions then no fee will be due by either party.
